2 NAMES REMOVED FROM NATIONAL TEAM

The Turkish Football Federation announced that Barıs Alper Yılmaz, who is injured, and Kaan Ayhan, who is suspended, have been removed from the squad.

Changes were made to the candidate squad of the national team, which will face Iceland in the UEFA Nations League B. The TFF stated that “Barıs Alper Yılmaz, who suffered an injury to his right hamstring during the match against Montenegro in Samsun last night, and Kaan Ayhan, who became suspended after receiving a yellow card in the same match, have been removed from the candidate squad.”

WHEN IS THE ICELAND-TURKEY MATCH?
The national team will face Iceland away in the UEFA Nations League B on October 14, Monday. The match will take place at Laugardalsvollur Stadium and will kick off at 21:45 TRT.

In the previous match, the national team defeated Montenegro 1-0 with a goal from İrfan Can Kahveci, bringing their points to 7 and maintaining their lead in the group.
