Trabzonspor has officially announced through KAP (Public Disclosure Platform) that they have mutually agreed to part ways with head coach Abdullah Avcı.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT “Our company has mutually terminated the contract with our Professional Football Team’s Head Coach, Mr. Abdullah Mucib Avcı, which was originally set to end on 30.06.2025. According to the agreement, Mr. Avcı has waived half of his outstanding payments under the contract.”

DID NOT ATTEND THE FINAL TRAINING Abdullah Avcı did not attend the team’s final training session. The training was led by İhsan Derelioğlu. Trabzonspor made the following statement regarding the situation:

“Our team has completed preparations for the away match against İkas Eyüpspor in the 4th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig with a training session held at 12:30 PM today at Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Facilities, under the management of our Technical Coordinator İhsan Derelioğlu.”
