Ali Camdali, who had surgery, will not leave his team alone in the Besiktas match

Konyaspor’s Press Spokesperson, Nuri Kaymak, stated that despite head coach Ali Camdali being unable to be on the bench due to a suspension for the Besiktas match, he recently underwent surgery after an injury in training but still traveled to Istanbul to lead the team.

TUMOSAN Konyaspor Press Spokesperson Nuri Kaymak said that they aim to return with points from tomorrow’s away match against Besiktas.

In a statement to AA, Nuri Kaymak recalled that they have collected 11 points in the league so far, saying, “Our current points standing is good.”

Explaining that they added many players to their squad at the beginning of the season, Kaymak said, “We are a new team; 15 new players joined. The process of these players getting along… I think we’ve passed the communication phase within reasonable limits. We had some challenging times, but when we look at the result, our team is in a good position, and this pleases us. As we move forward, the team will settle more, and they’ll play football accordingly.”

“Besiktas, a tough away game”

Nuri Kaymak mentioned that they made good use of the international break and also played a preparation match during this period.

He explained that tomorrow’s match against Besiktas will be difficult, saying, “Besiktas is a tough away match. All away matches are tough. Hopefully, we aim to return with one or more points. Hopefully, we will return to Konya that way.”

Kaymak also recalled that their head coach Ali Camdali suffered an injury during training and added:

“He had surgery in Konya. Our coach attends all the training sessions. He also received an unfortunate red card during the Eyupspor match. Due to his suspension, he won’t be on the bench for the Besiktas match, but he has traveled to Istanbul to lead the team. He is standing with a brace on his leg. Despite this, he is still leading the team. His morale and motivation are good, and his health is improving. The brace on his leg will be removed in the coming days.”
