ALONSO: “WE HAVE A LOT TO IMPROVE FOR MEXICO”

Fernando Alonso believes there are several areas that Aston Martin needs to develop for the next race weekend.

Starting from 7th place on Sunday, Alonso finished the race in 13th position. The two-time world champion stated in a post-session interview that the team would aim to return stronger for Mexico.

Alonso said, “Although I had a good start up to the first corner, I got stuck on the outside and stayed there, which is why I lost positions. Finishing in 13th place was not a surprise for us. Ultimately, we are left with the lessons learned from the race.”

“We have a lot to analyze and improve for Mexico.”

“We’re telling the team what the car needs, and the team is doing their best. We struggled for a significant part of the season, but we’ve learned both positive and negative lessons from that.”

“We’ll try to develop based on the analysis of the new package for Mexico.”
