Alvaro Morata’s Surprising Inter Derby Story: Secretly Entered San Siro!

31-year-old Alvaro Morata joined AC Milan, one of Italy’s top clubs, this summer and made a confession that shocked Milan fans. Morata revealed that he secretly watched several ‘Derby della Madonnina’ matches against rivals Inter at San Siro. To avoid being recognized, the Spanish striker wore a hat and dark sunglasses. He shared this story for the first time with Sky Sports Italy.

Morata: “I Can’t Wait for the Derby”

Speaking to Sky Sports Italy, Morata said, “I can’t wait to play in the derby. For the first time, I can now say that I have already been to San Siro to watch several derbies as a fan. I wore my hat and dark sunglasses, and no one noticed I was there. I wanted to breathe in the atmosphere. Even from the outside, you understand how important this match is.”

Morata expressed his eagerness to win a derby that would make Milan fans proud and score a goal. “Inter is a very competitive team. We have to play with our hearts against them. You might make a bad pass or miss a goal, but you must do your best on the field,” he said.

Morata’s Future at Milan and His Derby Dream

Morata seems to have adapted well to AC Milan and plans to play for at least four or five more years. The Spanish forward scored his first goal for Milan in a 2-2 draw against Torino but has been sidelined with a muscle injury since then. If he regains his form, Morata’s dream of playing in a derby against Inter could soon become a reality. Milan and Inter will face off on September 22.

A Tough Season Start for Milan

AC Milan had a below-expectation start to the season, collecting just two points from their first three matches. Morata’s absence has left a significant gap in the forward line. Milan must secure a crucial victory against Venezia on September 14.
