Ange Postecoglou Says Erik ten Hag’s Sacking Was “Almost Inevitable”
Tottenham Manager Considers Ten Hag’s Termination Following Spurs’ victory over United
Erik ten Hag’s exit from Manchester United was “almost inevitable” because to the rigorous scrutiny he endured, according to Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou.
The Dutch manager was under even more strain after Spurs, led by Postecoglou, decisively defeated United 3-0 earlier this season. With just three victories from nine games, United’s difficult season has put them in 14th place in the Premier League standings.
Postecoglou on the Expectations of Managers
Spurs are presently ninth in the league, so Postecoglou acknowledged the challenges of his own position while considering the hard reality of Premier League management.
“I’m not really shocked. Disappointing as it was, it was almost inevitable with the scrutiny he had.”
