National athlete Aysel Özgan, who won a silver medal in shooting at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, proudly reflects on her achievement. Continuing her impressive form from the 2024 Paralympic Games, Özgan had previously set a world record with 240 points in the P2 10-metre air pistol SH1 category at the Para Shooting World Cup in France in 2022.

In the Paralympic final, Özgan secured second place with a remarkable shot, becoming the second female national athlete to win a silver medal, following Ayşegül Pehlivanlar’s success in Tokyo 2021.
