Barcelona has revisited the idea of signing the Monaco defender

Barcelona is dissatisfied with the competition for the right-back position and is exploring backup options for Jules Koundé.

Details: Fichajes reports that the Catalan club has renewed its interest in Vanderson, the right-back from Monaco. Currently, the team relies on Koundé as the starting right-back, while Héctor Bellerín is his natural competitor.

Reminder: It’s worth noting that the Spanish giants had previously shown interest in the Brazilian, and his recent performances for Monaco, including a strong showing against Barcelona, have reinforced the justification for his return to the list of potential reinforcements.

At just 22 years old, Vanderson has caught the attention of not only Barcelona but also clubs like Manchester United. However, his price tag, which exceeds €20 million, along with a recently signed contract with the Monegasques that runs until 2028, poses a financial challenge for the Catalans.
