Berkan Kutlu in Place of Jakobs

After Ismail Jakobs’ injury, Galatasaray’s head coach Okan Buruk is evaluating options for the left-back position. The experienced coach is expected to give Berkan Kutlu a chance in the absence of the Senegalese player.

Jakobs had to leave the match against Antalya due to his injury. The Senegalese player will be sidelined for approximately one month due to a strain in his right upper hamstring.

During this period, Jakobs will miss the UEFA Europa League match against Elfsborg and the derby against Besiktas in the league. Following this, the yellow-red team will have a BAY week in the league, providing them with an opportunity for about 10 days of rest.

The medical team is working to make Ismail Jakobs available for the Europa League match against Tottenham on November 7.
