Bernd Schuster Says ‘Whole Team Has to Change’ to Get the Best Out of Mbappe
Bernd Schuster Suggests Waiting Patiently for Mbappe’s Adjustment
Kylian Mbappe won’t be able to excel in Spain without time and the “whole team” making adjustments, according to former Real Madrid manager Bernd Schuster. Even though he leads Real Madrid in scoring this year, the summer transfer from Paris Saint-Germain has drawn criticism for his inconsistent play.
While Schuster is sure that Mbappe’s extraordinary potential will shine through, he thinks the Real Madrid team as a whole needs to adjust if they want to get the most out of the Frenchman.
What Bernd Schuster Said
Speaking to MARCA, Schuster said: “Sometimes players with a lot of quality, like Mbappe, arrive, and it’s expected to be easier for them, but it can be a bit difficult at first. I think it’s just a matter of time and matches. He knows what he has to do, but the whole team has to change a bit, not just him.”
