Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor take the field for European advancement

Today, two major clubs of Turkish football face crucial matches in Europe.

In the UEFA Europa League, Beşiktaş will host Lugano at home in the second leg of their 3-3 draw. The match will kick off at 21:00, officiated by Radu Petrescu from Romania. With Necip as their only missing player, a one-goal victory will be enough for Beşiktaş to advance to the group stage of the Europa League. If the match ends in a draw, extra time or penalties will determine the winner. The losing team will continue their journey in the Conference League.

Trabzonspor missing two players

In the UEFA Conference League, Trabzonspor will face another Swiss team, St. Gallen, at Papara Park. The match will begin at 20:00, with Andris Treimanis from Latvia as the referee. After a goalless draw in the first leg, Trabzonspor, like Beşiktaş, only needs a one-goal victory to advance. The Black Sea team will be without Nwakaeme and Hüseyin Türkmen, but Malheiro and Eren Elmalı, whose suspensions have ended, will be available to play.
