Besiktas Fibabanka aims to bounce back
In the Eurocup, our representative Besiktas Fibabanka is looking to regain momentum. After losing their last 2 games, they will host Ratiopharm Ulm, who have won 3 out of 3. The match will kick off tomorrow at 20:00 and will be broadcast live on TRT Spor.
Besiktas Fibabanka faces a tough challenge in the Eurocup’s 4th week as they welcome the German team Ratiopharm Ulm. In their first 3 matches, Besiktas Fibabanka secured just 1 victory, starting the season by defeating Buducnost at Akatlar.
Alimpijevic’s team then lost to Bahcesehir Koleji on the road and last week fell to Hapoel Tel Aviv in Belgrade, 101-87. Struggling defensively, Besiktas Fibabanka has conceded an average of 94 points in their last two games. They also began the Turkish Super League with a 99-95 defeat against TOFAS but bounced back in the second week by beating Bahcesehir Koleji 82-78.
Ratiopharm Ulm, on the other hand, has started the season strong. The German side has won all three of their Eurocup games, defeating Trefl Sopot, Joventut Badalona, and Wolves, averaging 92 points per game and standing out with their offense. They have also won all 3 of their German League matches, remaining unbeaten in official games.
