In the first week of the FIBA Women’s European Cup Group E, YTR Real Estate Bodrum Basketball lost to Hungary’s Sopron Basket at home, with the regular time ending in a 73-73 tie, and Sopron winning 86-80 in overtime.
Bodrum’s representative struggled in the first quarter but led at halftime by a narrow margin of 39-38. In the third quarter, Bodrum Basketball increased their lead to 10 points, entering the final quarter comfortably at 58-48.
In a highly competitive fourth quarter, Bodrum Basketball managed to tie the game at 73-73 with a three-pointer in the final seconds, forcing the match into overtime. In overtime, Bodrum lost to Sopron, finishing 80-86.
Juskaite was the top scorer for the home team, while Reid was the highest scorer of the game for Sopron.
