Fenerbahçe Signs Sofyan Amrabat on Loan from Fiorentina
Fenerbahçe has strengthened its midfield by signing Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat on loan from the Italian club Fiorentina.
In an official statement, the yellow-dark blue club announced, “Our club has reached a preliminary agreement with ACF Fiorentina and the player Sofyan Amrabat for a temporary transfer. Sofyan Amrabat will arrive in Istanbul today for medical examinations and further transfer negotiations. We present this to the public’s attention.”
Last season, the 28-year-old player was on loan at Manchester United, where he made 30 appearances, including 17 starts, without contributing any goals. This season, Amrabat has played in three official matches for Fiorentina, starting in two of them.
