COLAPİNTO: “ACCIDENT MY FAULT”

Rookie pilot Franco Colapinto impressed with his performance in his first races in Formula 1. Colapinto, who had an accident by spinning in the first division of the qualifying rounds of the Brazilian Grand Prix, which passed in difficult conditions and many pilots had accidents, made statements to ESPN Argentina about the subject:
“I don’t know exactly what happened. I did some skating and then… It was impossible to recover. This is very sad. I apologize to the team. They have a lot of work to do. I don’t know if they can catch up with the race. It’s a shame. I hope we can do something for the future.”
“The accident was 100% my fault.”
“We’ll see if we can catch up with the race; this is what I want the most. Now we have to work and try to start the race. It was a small mistake that shouldn’t have happened.”
