Bagnaia takes victory, Martin third!

Francesco Bagnaia, who started the last sprint race of the season from pole position, was unable to maintain his lead at the start and was passed by Enea Bastianini, while Jorge Martin moved up to third place.

However, before the first lap was over, Bagnaia passed his teammate and regained the lead.

Meanwhile, there was a contact between Pedro Acosta and Marc Marquez. The drivers managed to continue the session without crashing.

With 10 laps to go, Martin attacked Bastianini to move into second place, but one lap later, Bastianini retook second place from the Pramac driver.

Martin tried to attack again and managed to pass Bastianini, while Franco Morbidelli, who was in fourth place, moved up to third.

With four laps to go, Fabio Quartararo passed Marco Bezzecchi to take eighth place.

In the remaining laps, Martin was unable to close the gap to Bagnaia, who was about 1 second ahead. On the last lap, Bastianini made an attack for second place, pushing Martin down to third place.

Bagnaia took his seventh sprint win of the season and narrowed the gap in the championship lead to 19, with the title battle now advancing to Sunday’s race.
