Beşiktaş President Hasan Arat: We Didn’t Pay PSG for the Ndour Transfer
Beşiktaş President Hasan Arat provided details about the transfer of a player they acquired from the French club.
President Hasan Arat stated that they are taking very cautious steps in the transfer market due to the high number of foreign players. The head of the black and white club said, “The transfer limit is very tight. No one can come in until someone goes out. It’s like a chess game, with moves dictating decisions. The moment one player leaves, the players we’ve agreed with are ready to join. Look at the time difference between Amir’s move to Rizespor and Ndour’s arrival. We’ve been working on this for 6 months, even though the signature is recent. Beşiktaş did not pay PSG any fee for Ndour.”
IN WOMEN’S EUROLEAGUE
Arat also added that Demir Ege and Tayyip Talha would remain in the squad, and continued, “The Kara Duvar project (to allow standing spectators in the stands behind the goal) has passed the Ministry of Youth and Sports, but we are waiting for approval from the Ministry of Interior. Our search for sponsorship continues. In basketball, our women’s team is competing in the EuroLeague this season. We also had plans to enter the EuroLeague for men, but we postponed it because we prioritized football. Once we improve football, Beşiktaş will become even stronger.”
