Beşiktaş signed Uduokhai, now focusing on Angelo

After completing the transfer of the German defender, Beşiktaş has turned its attention to the Brazilian left-winger.

The German magazine Kicker reported that Beşiktaş will pay a loan fee of 500,000 euros and, if they choose to buy his contract at the end of the season, an additional 5 million euros. The club has also reached the final stages in the transfer of Angelo Gabriel, the left-winger they have been eyeing.
Beşiktaş made its 7th signing and officially added Felix Uduokhai, whom they brought to Istanbul last Sunday night. In a statement from the black-and-white club, it was announced, “An agreement has been reached with Augsburg for the temporary transfer of Uduokhai with a purchase option until the end of the 2024-25 season.” Although the statement did not provide details about the player’s cost, the German magazine Kicker wrote that Beşiktaş would pay Augsburg 500,000 euros as a loan fee and, if the contract is purchased at the end of the season, an additional 5 million euros. This amount could rise to 7.5 million euros depending on performance. Uduokhai participated in his first training session with the team yesterday after his transfer was finalized.

JOAO MARIO AS ANGELO’S ALTERNATIVE
Before signing Felix Uduokhai, Beşiktaş management added Ciro Immobile, Rafa Silva, Gabriel Paulista, Cher Ndour, Emirhan Topçu, and Can Keleş to their squad, and now they are focused on a left-wing transfer. The first name on the black-and-white club’s list for this position is Angelo Gabriel. Although an agreement has been reached with the 19-year-old Brazilian and his club Chelsea on a loan deal, Beşiktaş is still waiting for Chelsea’s response as their coach, Enzo Maresca, has not yet decided whether the player will stay or leave, causing a delay in the transfer process. The second name on Beşiktaş’s list of left-wing candidates is 31-year-old Portuguese Joao Mario, who plays for Benfica. If the Angelo transfer does not materialize, they will negotiate with Joao Mario.
