Carlo Ancelotti has asked Real Madrid to find another coach.

The club isn’t opposed to bringing in another coach but wants to ensure it’s a high-quality addition. One key reason is they don’t want to disrupt the current harmony between the squad and the coaching team. If they do bring someone in, they want it to be a coach who can stay beyond Ancelotti’s tenure, whether he leaves or is dismissed. While Ancelotti and his staff have someone in mind, the final decision is up to the club.

Davide Ancelotti and Francesco Mauri could start their own coaching careers after Carlo leaves or is dismissed. The fitness staff and Luis Llopis, the goalkeeping coach, are expected to stay, but Simone Montanaro, the technical analyst, might follow Ancelotti if he leaves. It’s clear that the club’s failure to hire Mangan signals that Real Madrid is ready to make a move.

According to Relevo, Carlo Ancelotti and his staff have once again requested an additional coach to assist them. They believe the next step to improving the team’s performance is bringing in someone who can work on tactical and technical aspects.

Ancelotti’s staff currently consists of eight members: assistant coach Davide Ancelotti, goalkeeping coach Luis Llopis, fitness coach Francesco Mauri, technical analyst Simone Montanaro, technical and physical trainer Mino Fulco, and fitness coach Antonio Pintus, along with two video analysts.

For comparison, Unai Emery has a 20-person staff at Aston Villa, while Marcelino Garcia Toral’s team at Villarreal had close to 30 members. The smaller staff size at Real Madrid forces Ancelotti’s team to take on additional responsibilities like set pieces and training sessions, while Davide Ancelotti and Mauri focus mainly on tactical work. The staff believes that bringing in more specialized support would help distribute the workload more evenly and allow for greater focus in key areas.
