Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr continued their unbeaten run in the Saudi Pro League with a comfortable 3-0 win over Steven Gerrard’s struggling Al-Ettifaq. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner led the way, scoring a first-half penalty, with Salem Al-Najdi and Anderson Talisca adding second-half strikes to seal the victory.
Al-Nassr started the game strongly, launching a series of early attacks. Al-Ettifaq managed to hold firm until Ronaldo converted a penalty past goalkeeper Marek Rodak. Despite Al-Nassr’s dominance, Gerrard’s side struggled to create significant opportunities, keeping the scoreline respectable for the rest of the half.
In the second half, Al-Nassr pulled away as Sadio Mane showcased his class, combining well with Talisca to dismantle Al-Ettifaq’s defense. Mane set up Al-Najdi for the second goal before delivering a perfect cutback for Talisca to score the third and wrap up a convincing 3-0 win.
While Ronaldo and Mane were the stars of the night, Georginio Wijnaldum had a game to forget, as Al-Nassr’s attacking prowess left Al-Ettifaq searching for answers.
