Fenerbahce made a surprising transfer offer for 30-year-old Bosnian midfielder Rade Krunic.

Fenerbahce’s head coach, Jose Mourinho, did not include Rade Krunic in his main squad plans, leading to new transfer speculations. After South Korean player In-beom Hwang’s transfer to Feyenoord, Red Star Belgrade, looking to strengthen their midfield, is reportedly interested in Rade Krunic from Fenerbahce.

According to a report by Mozzart Sport, Red Star Belgrade wants to loan Rade Krunic, and discussions with Fenerbahce are ongoing. Krunic’s current market value is 6 million euros, and his contract with Fenerbahce runs until 2026. Fenerbahce signed Krunic from Milan during the winter transfer window of last season. Since joining the team, Krunic has made 22 appearances and provided 1 assist.

“DOES NOT FIT MY IDEAS”

Following Sofyan Amrabat’s transfer, Fenerbahce’s head coach Jose Mourinho commented after the Alanyaspor match: “Krunic and Zajc do not fit my ideas, which is why we had a gap there. Now we are bringing in players for that position. We can’t say it will be Ismail or Fred’s position for Amrabat; we play with three midfielders. We will have a good squad.”
