Fenerbahçe has officially announced the departure of Joao Pedro, whose exit from the club had been anticipated. The club confirmed that the Brazilian player’s contract has been terminated by mutual agreement.
Joao Pedro, who joined Fenerbahçe from Italy’s Cagliari in the 2022-2023 season, made 20 league appearances, 7 in European competitions, and 1 in the Turkish Cup, scoring 5 goals and providing 1 assist.
The 32-year-old forward was loaned to Brazilian club Gremio last year and has now returned to Fenerbahçe following the expiration of his loan.
