Former Besiktas Star Andreas Beck Reveals Keys to Frankfurt Match
Former Besiktas player Andreas Beck praised the development of the team under coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst and highlighted the importance of home advantage and a strong attacking lineup as key factors for victory against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Beck, who played for Besiktas from 2015 to 2018, winning two Super Lig titles, spoke to the Ihlas News Agency about the upcoming UEFA Europa League match.
“TOUGH MATCH FOR BESIKTAS”
Beck started by mentioning the challenge ahead for Besiktas: “Frankfurt has been performing well this season. They are currently second in the Bundesliga and have considerable international and Europa League experience. This will be a great test for Besiktas. However, playing at home gives them an advantage. We’ve also seen how competitive Besiktas has become under van Bronckhorst. They just need to recover from the defeat in Amsterdam against Ajax.”

Beck noted the significant improvement under Giovanni van Bronckhorst, saying: “The stats and the number of goals speak for themselves. We were a good team, and I’m sure the current squad will also have a successful season. They’ve already won a cup with a 5-0 score. I hope they become champions this season.”
