Gaziantep FK Signs Winger from Juventus

Süper Lig club Gaziantep FK has announced the signing of winger Christopher Lungoyi from Juventus Next Gen. The 24-year-old has signed a 2+1 year contract with the Gaziantep side.

Continuing their transfer efforts, Gaziantep FK revealed that they have secured the services of Christopher Lungoyi from Juventus Next Gen.

The club’s statement regarding the transfer is as follows:

“Our club, Gaziantep Football Club, has reached a 2+1 year agreement with young winger Christopher Lungoyi, who most recently played for Juventus Next Gen.

Our new signing Christopher Lungoyi officially signed the contract during a ceremony attended by our club president, Memik Yılmaz.

We welcome Christopher Lungoyi to our club and wish him great success under our emblem.”

Who is Christopher Lungoyi?

Born on July 4, 2000, in Kinshasa, Congo, Lungoyi started his football career in the youth academy of Servette. In 2017, he played for Servette’s first team and transferred to FC Porto B in 2019. In 2020, he joined Lugano. In 2021, Lungoyi moved to Juventus U23 for €3.4 million and subsequently played for St. Gallen, Ascoli, and Yverdon Sport. The young winger is known for his speed, ball control, and dribbling skills. Throughout his career, he has played in 166 official matches, scoring 32 goals and providing 9 assists. Lungoyi has also represented Switzerland in various youth national teams, making 17 appearances and scoring 2 goals.
