The Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) has handed down sanctions following the first week of the Süper Lig. Kasımpaşa’s head coach, Sami Uğurlu, who received a red card, has been banned for 7 matches. Arda Turan, who was also shown a red card in his debut Süper Lig match, has received a 1-match ban.
The PFDK’s decisions are as follows:
1- Galatasaray A.Ş.: Fined 168,000 TL due to crowd incidents caused by their supporters during the Galatasaray A.Ş. vs. Atakaş Hatayspor match on August 9, 2024, in the Trendyol Süper Lig.
2- Kasımpaşa A.Ş.: Issued a warning for improper and offensive chants by their supporters during the Kasımpaşa A.Ş. vs. TÜMOSAN Konyaspor match on August 10, 2024, in the Trendyol Süper Lig. This was the first occurrence of such an offense by the home team in the season.
In the same match:
Kasımpaşa A.Ş. head coach Sami Uğurlu: Banned from the dressing room and bench for 5 official matches and fined 97,500 TL for insulting and threatening the match referee both before and after his dismissal.
3- Fenerbahçe A.Ş.: Due to improper and offensive chants by their supporters during the Fenerbahçe A.Ş. vs. Adana Demirspor A.Ş. match on August 10, 2024, the fans seated in the Maraton Üst Tribün E-F and Spor Toto Tribün D blocks will have their electronic tickets blocked, preventing entry to the next home match.
4- Adana Demirspor A.Ş.: For improper and offensive chants by their supporters in the same match, and as it was their first offense as an away team this season, they received a warning. Fans in the Misafir Tribün Kuzey G block will have their electronic tickets blocked, preventing entry to the next away match.
5- Net Global Sivasspor: Due to improper and offensive chants by their supporters during the Net Global Sivasspor vs. Trabzonspor A.Ş. match on August 11, 2024, the fans in the Osman Seçilmiş Güney Alt Tribün C block will have their electronic tickets blocked, preventing entry to the next home match.
6- Trabzonspor A.Ş.: For improper and offensive chants by their supporters in the same match, they received a warning. Fans in the Misafir Kuzey Tribün A block will have their electronic tickets blocked, preventing entry to the next away match.
7- Corendon Alanyaspor: Due to improper and offensive chants by their supporters during the Corendon Alanyaspor vs. İKAS Eyüpspor match on August 11, 2024, fans in the Corendon Airlines Kuzey Kale Arkası Tribün Kuzey Kale Arkası H block will have their electronic tickets blocked, preventing entry to the next home match.
8- Arda Turan (İKAS Eyüpspor Coach): Due to unsportsmanlike behavior towards match officials during the Corendon Alanyaspor vs. İKAS Eyüpspor match on August 11, 2024, he has been banned from the dressing room and bench for 1 official match and fined 58,500 TL.
9- Beşiktaş A.Ş.: For improper and offensive chants by their supporters during the Samsunspor A.Ş. vs. Beşiktaş A.Ş. match on August 11, 2024, and as it was their first offense as an away team this season, they received a warning. Fans in the Misafir Tribün Misafir 221A – 221B – 223C blocks will have their electronic tickets blocked, preventing entry to the next away match. Additionally, Beşiktaş was fined 168,000 TL for crowd incidents.
10- Gaziantep Futbol Kulübü A.Ş.: Fined 168,000 TL for crowd incidents during the Sipay Bodrum FK vs. Gaziantep Futbol Kulübü A.Ş. match on August 12, 2024.
11- Sakaryaspor A.Ş.: Fined 126,000 TL for crowd incidents during the Sakaryaspor A.Ş. vs. Ankara Keçiörengücü match on August 9, 2024. Fans in the Açık Tribün Açık A block will have their electronic tickets blocked for the next two home matches. Sakaryaspor also received a warning for improper and offensive chants, and fans in the Açık Tribün Açık A-B blocks will have their electronic tickets blocked for the next home match.
12- Yeni Malatyaspor: Given a 0-3 forfeit loss and a 3-point deduction for not showing up on time for their match against Pendikspor Futbol A.Ş. on August 10, 2024.
13- Kocaelispor: Fined 84,000 TL for crowd incidents during their match against Gençlerbirliği on August 10, 2024.
14- Boluspor: Fans in the Kapalı Tribün B block will have their electronic tickets blocked for the next home match due to improper and offensive chants during the Boluspor vs. Alagöz Holding Iğdır FK match on August 11, 2024. Additionally, club official Mahmut Çimender was warned for not visibly wearing his accreditation.
15- Fatih Karagümrük A.Ş.: Received a warning for improper and offensive chants by their supporters during their match against Amed Sportif Faaliyetler on August 11, 2024. Fans in the Batı Alt Tribün Batı Alt-205 block will have their electronic tickets blocked for the next home match.
16- Amed Sportif Faaliyetler: Received a warning for improper and offensive chants by their supporters during their match against Fatih Karagümrük A.Ş. on August 11, 2024. Fans in the Güney Misafir Tribün Güney-326 block will have their electronic tickets blocked for the next away match.
17- Ahlatcı Çorum FK: Fined 84,000 TL for crowd incidents during their match against Central Hospital Ümraniyespor on August 12, 2024. Additionally, fans in the Misafir Tribün will have their electronic tickets blocked for the next away match due to improper and offensive chants.
18- Selahattin Baki: Following a review, the 32-day ban from football activities issued on May 19, 2024, for unsportsmanlike conduct on social media was lifted due to changes in the regulations in his favor. The case will be reexamined.
