Italians Protest During Israel’s National Anthem at UEFA Nations League Match
During the UEFA Nations A League Group 2 match between Israel and Italy, a group of Italian fans staged a protest by turning their backs while Israel’s national anthem was played.
According to reports in the Italian press, the match, held at the Bozsik Stadium in Budapest due to security concerns in Israel, saw around 50 Italian fans in the visiting section turn their backs to the pitch during the playing of the Israeli anthem.
