Jalen Brunson scored 42 of his 55 points against the Washington Wizards after half-time

Jalen Brunson delivered a career-best performance, scoring 55 points, including nine in overtime, as the New York Knicks defeated the Washington Wizards 136-132. The win extended the Knicks’ winning streak to seven games and capped off an impressive December with 11 victories in 13 games.

Karl-Anthony Towns added 30 points and 14 rebounds, helping the Knicks continue their hot streak, winning 17 of their last 21 games.

The Wizards, missing leading scorer Jordan Poole due to injury, were led by Justin Champagnie’s double-double performance of 31 points and 10 rebounds.
