Jurgen Klopp’s Sergio Ramos confession after years!
After leaving Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp was appointed as the global football director of the Red Bull teams and made some statements about Sergio Ramos that will be widely discussed.
Most recently, Jurgen Klopp, who has taken on the global football directorship at Red Bull, made striking comments about Sergio Ramos during a podcast with Toni Kroos.
Speaking about the final in 2018 where Sergio Ramos injured Mohamed Salah, Jurgen Klopp said, “Is Sergio Ramos really a good person? I can say he’s not my favorite player. The foul he committed on Salah in 2018 was brutal. Of course, he couldn’t have known he would injure Salah’s shoulder, but we all know he wouldn’t have cared even if he did. I can’t understand that mindset; when I have such players, I do everything I can to get them out of my team.”
‘WE WON’T EXPERIENCE A MATCH LIKE THAT AGAIN’
Klopp continued, “We will never experience a game like that one in 2018 (the Real Madrid final) again. They elbowed our goalkeeper, injured our top scorer like a wrestler, and won the match.”
In that final, Liverpool lost the trophy to Real Madrid with a score of 3-1. The following year, Liverpool reached the final again, this time defeating another English team, Tottenham, to claim the trophy.
