Nigeria Held to a Goalless Draw by Rwanda in AFCON Qualifiers

Nigeria Stumbles to a Goalless Draw Against Rwanda

Nigeria played out a 0-0 draw with Rwanda in their second Group D match of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

After starting the qualifiers with a win over Benin, Nigeria struggled to break down Rwanda’s defense in a match that ended in a goalless stalemate.

Galatasaray’s new signing Victor Osimhen replaced Victor Boniface at the start of the second half, but the Super Eagles were unable to find the back of the net.

With this result, Nigeria sits on 4 points, while Rwanda has 2 points. The qualifiers will continue in October.
