“Ralf Schumacher: Hamilton is not better than Verstappen or Michael.”

Michael Schumacher’s brother, Ralf Schumacher, made striking comments about Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton, who holds the title of the statistically most successful driver in Formula 1, stands at the top with seven world championships, 105 grand prix victories, and 104 pole positions.

If Hamilton wins one more championship, he will surpass the record he shares with the legendary Michael Schumacher and stand alone at the top.

Despite all these statistics, Michael Schumacher’s brother Ralf believes Hamilton will never match Schumacher.

In his statement to Gazzetta, Ralf said: “Hamilton will never get close to Michael. From my point of view, he will always be a few light years away.”

“Winning a grand prix in Formula 1 depends on the car the team provides. We all thought Lewis could perform miracles, but he didn’t.”

“People constantly ask me if Lewis is the best driver while breaking all these records. I think Hamilton is definitely the strongest of his era, but it’s difficult to compare him with Michael.”

“Aside from his great talent, Hamilton also benefited from a dominant technical era with Mercedes. That wasn’t always the case for my brother.”

Ralf Schumacher also compared Hamilton with Max Verstappen, saying Verstappen is more talented: “Moreover, Max is more talented than Lewis. That puts him in a different category.”

“Michael was one of the drivers who made a difference, just like Verstappen does now.”
