THE BIG PICTURE: According to Ersin Duzen on 343 Digital’s YouTube channel, Bundesliga 2 club Schalke 04 is reportedly eager to appoint Sergen Yalçın as their head coach. The German side is said to be persistent in securing the experienced Turkish manager.

Former Beşiktaş player Kenan Karaman, who worked with Sergen Yalçın at Beşiktaş, currently serves as captain at Schalke 04.
