The Dutch press claimed that Twente missed out on victory in the Europa League match.
In their reports and comments on the 1-1 draw between Twente and Fenerbahce, the Dutch media highlighted Dusan Tadic, who scored the equalizing goal for Fenerbahce:
· AD: “With Tadic’s goal, a well-deserved European victory against Mourinho’s Fenerbahce slipped through Twente’s fingers. Twente could have caused much more damage to Fenerbahce. They played very well but let the Turks escape.”
