Tomislav Mijatovic: “Playing 3 Games in 5-6 Days is Not Easy”

Anadolu Efes head coach Tomislav Mijatovic spoke after his team’s victory over Manisa Basket in the opening game of the day in the Türkiye Sigorta Basketball Super League.

Despite Manisa Basket taking control in the first half, Efes dominated the second half and emerged victorious with a score of 85-73. This win marks Efes’s fifth consecutive victory in five games, while Manisa suffered their fifth defeat.

After the game, Coach Mijatovic shared his thoughts with the broadcaster, expressing pride in his team:

“I want to congratulate my players for their tremendous effort. We were a bit scattered in the first half. Manisa is a very talented offensive team with a great coach. We needed a strong effort to win, and we delivered. Playing three games in five or six days is not easy. I would also like to thank the fans who came here to support us. We have a critical game against Monaco on Friday, and we hope to see our fans with us again.”
