National Women’s Basketball Team Drops 3 Places in FIBA World Rankings

The National Women’s Basketball Team has dropped three places in the latest FIBA world rankings. The updated rankings were released following the conclusion of the Paris 2024 Olympics and the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The United States, having secured its 8th consecutive Olympic gold in Paris and 10th overall, remains at the top with 883.3 points. Australia climbed one spot to 2nd place with 715.4 points, while France, the Paris 2024 finalist, surged four places to 3rd with 706.4 points.

Turkey, however, experienced a decline, falling three spots to 17th in the world rankings.
