Ahead of the UEFA Europa League match against Fenerbahce, Twente’s coach Joseph Oosting highlighted the physical strength of the Turkish side. In a press conference, Oosting reflected on their previous encounters and emphasized their desire to maintain their rising performance, particularly after a strong showing against Manchester United.

Oosting stated, “Fenerbahce has a physically strong squad and a world-renowned coach who knows what to expect from his players.” He praised Fenerbahçe’s courage, creativity, and speed in attack, acknowledging the significance of playing at home with supportive fans.

Oosting admitted mistakes from their previous encounter but expressed confidence in their development, asserting, “We’ve improved; we finished third in the Netherlands for a reason.” He respected Fenerbahçe and coach Mourinho, planning to greet him warmly before the match.
