Former Argentine forward Diego Milito has shared insights into his experience working with Jose Mourinho at Inter, describing him as a surprisingly warm figure behind the scenes. Despite Mourinho’s often intense and controversial public persona, Milito insists the manager is a positive presence in the locker room.
The two worked together during Inter’s legendary 2009-10 season, which saw them win the treble. After that historic campaign, Mourinho moved on to Real Madrid, while Milito remained with Inter until 2014.
Reflecting on Mourinho’s contrasting demeanor, Milito said:
“He has one face on the outside, but inside [the locker room] he is completely different.”
