Altay Bayındır, who traveled with Fenerbahce for their match against Manchester United, received a warm welcome from the Yellow-Navy fans before the game. After the UEFA Europa League match held last night, in which Fenerbahce faced Manchester United at Kadikoy, Altay shared an emotional message.
Posting photos from the warm-up, the national goalkeeper expressed, “Meeting you again in Kadikoy is an indescribable joy! I sincerely thank you for the love and support you have shown me. I’m so grateful to have you, my beloved Fenerbahce.”
“I Represent My Country”
After the match, Altay spoke to the press, stating, “I played against the club where I’ve created memories, both good and bad. Walking into the home team’s locker room was an indescribable feeling. I also take pride in representing my country. I hope to get more chances, and everything goes better for me. It was a nice match that ended in a draw. I wish the best for our Fenerbahce. I hope everyone has a great season. May it be for the best.”
When asked about his thoughts on Fenerbahce, the 26-year-old goalkeeper responded, “They have a good coach and good players. I hope it gets better. This club and its fans always deserve to experience better things. I hope for the best.”
