Erling Haaland has etched his name into Norway’s football history by scoring twice in their 3-0 win over Slovenia in the UEFA Nations League.
In the League B, Group 3 match held at Ullevaal Stadium, Norway secured a commanding 3-0 victory. Haaland found the back of the net in the 7th and 62nd minutes, while Sörloth added another in the 52nd minute.
With this win, Norway moved to 7 points in the group, while Slovenia remains on 4 points.
Haaland’s Historic Feat
By scoring against Slovenia, Haaland made history. The 24-year-old striker has now netted 34 goals in 36 appearances for Norway, surpassing the previous record held by Jørgen Juve, who scored 33 goals in 45 matches between 1928 and 1937.
