A 17-day break was just what Fenerbahce needed!

23 5

The international break following the 8th week of the Super Lig, during which Fenerbahce had a bye week, came as a blessing for the team. Having skipped the 8th week and now facing a 17-day period without a match due to the international break, Fenerbahce views this as an opportunity to make a stronger comeback. When we asked Fenerbahce officials about this 17-day gap, they shared the following insights:

5 players recovering

“This break is perfect, not only for our injured players to recover but also for Jose Mourinho to analyze Samsunspor, one of the most disciplined and well-organized teams in the league, and our opponent on October 24th, Manchester United. We were only able to return to Istanbul from the Twente match around 5 PM on Friday. If we hadn’t had the bye week, we would have had to play a game within two days. This break has been very beneficial for the team.” The yellow-navy blue squad expects injured players Maximin, Ismail Yuksek, Caglar, Irfan Can Egribayat, and Mert Hakan Yandas to recover and be ready for the match against Samsunspor.
