Altay’s Decline Continues

Altay, which has not won in its last four matches in the TFF 2nd League White Group, continues its downward trend after being eliminated from the Ziraat Turkey Cup.

Starting the new season in the TFF 2nd League White Group with a draw against 24 Erzincanspor and a victory against Sincan Belediyesi Ankaraspor, Altay has since gone without a win in subsequent matches.

The Izmir team lost to Kastamonuspor, Beykoz Anadolu, and Batman Petrolspor, managing only a draw against Fethiyespor during this period.

As a result, they have fallen to 15th place, just above the relegation zone, on the points table and have yet to find a solution to their poor form.

Most recently, Altay was eliminated from the Turkey Cup after losing 1-0 to Karaman FK, marking a stretch of five official matches without a victory.

On October 13, Sunday, the black-and-white team will face the ambitious İskenderunspor and aims to secure a win away from home to break their winless streak in the league.

Additionally, it has been learned that President Suleyman Ozkaral is in contact with companies that could potentially be investors in the black-and-white club.
