Ancelotti Jokingly Told Jude Bellingham He Was Going to Sign His Brother Jobe

In a new documentary on his YouTube channel, Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham revealed that manager Carlo Ancelotti once jokingly threatened to replace him with his younger brother, Jobe Bellingham.

The lighthearted comment came after Jobe scored twice for Sunderland in a 2-1 victory over Rotherham last August. “I’ll never forget, as we’re coming out, Ancelotti goes to me, ‘we’ve bought the wrong one’,” Jude recalled.

The 21-year-old added that the Italian manager humorously suggested he was planning to bring Jobe in to play in Jude’s position at Real Madrid.
