Arda Guler named the second-best young player of the year.

While Real Madrid star Arda Guler achieved a historic success, the winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or was Manchester City’s Rodri. Arda Guler, who plays for Real Madrid, placed second in the Kopa Trophy award for the best young player of 2024, presented by UEFA and France Football. Arda surpassed Mathys Tel, Warren Zaire-Emery, Garnacho, Joao Neves, Cubarsi, Savinho, and Mainoo, while the first place went to Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.

Rodri from Manchester City won the Ballon d’Or (Golden Ball) for men, while Barcelona’s Aitana Bonmati topped the women’s category. Carlo Ancelotti was named the Coach of the Year, and Emiliano Martinez received the award for Goalkeeper of the Year.
