“Every time we need Mo, he scores a goal,” Slot remarked. “He was outstanding in the second half, doing many special things for us. Mo had a massive impact. Even when he wasn’t playing his best in the first half, he stepped up and did things not many players can do. His finishing is so clinical.”
Slot went on to emphasise Salah’s professionalism, praising the 32-year-old’s work ethic and commitment. “He leads by example and trains so hard. It’s not surprising that he does so well,” Slot added.
