Aryna Sabalenka Clinches Third Career Grand Slam Title at the US Open

At the US Open, the final Grand Slam tournament of the tennis season, second seed Aryna Sabalenka triumphed over Jessica Pegula in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5, to claim her third career Grand Slam title.

Sabalenka’s victory in the women’s singles final marks her first US Open championship. She previously reached the final last year but fell short against Coco Gauff. However, this year she was able to secure the title with a dominant performance.

3rd Grand Slam Championship of Her Career

This win adds to Sabalenka’s impressive Grand Slam tally, bringing her total to three titles. The 26-year-old secured her first Grand Slam victory at the Australian Open in 2023 and successfully defended her title earlier this year. In addition to her US Open win, she has also reached the semi-finals at the French Open and Wimbledon twice.
