Barcelona Triumphs Away: Lewandowski Scores Twice in 5-2 Victory

Barcelona delivered a dominant performance in the Champions League, defeating Red Star Belgrade 5-2 on the road. Robert Lewandowski was instrumental with two goals, while Inigo Martinez, Raphinha, and Fermin Lopez also found the net.

Barcelona struck early, going ahead in the 13th minute through Inigo Martinez, who scored with an assist from Raphinha. Red Star quickly responded, leveling the game in the 27th minute with a goal by Silas, assisted by Rade Krunic.

Lewandowski’s Double

As the first half neared its end, Lewandowski regained the lead for Barcelona in the 43rd minute, sending them into the break up 2-1. He extended the lead in the 53rd minute with his second goal, making it 3-1. Raphinha then scored in the 59th minute, increasing the advantage to 4-1. Fermin Lopez added Barcelona’s fifth goal in the 77th minute. Red Star managed a late goal by Milson in the 84th, setting the final score at 5-2.

With this result, Barcelona now has 9 points, while Red Star remains without a point in the group.
