Basaksehir facing a Slovenian team for the first time

In the first match of the day, RAMS Basaksehir will visit the Slovenian club NK Celje. The match, set to kick off at 19:45 at the stadium with the same name as the club, will be officiated by Oleksiy Derevinskyi from Ukraine. This will mark Basaksehir’s first encounter with a Slovenian team, and they have no injured or suspended players.

Celje had previously drawn 1-1 with Antalya in the Intertoto Cup in 1997. Basaksehir head coach Cagdas Atan emphasized the importance of this match in their pursuit of advancing to the next round of the Conference League, stating, “We will play a match like a final.”
