Besiktas Fibabanka defeated Germany’s Ratiopharm Ulm 107-74 in the 4th week of the BKT European Cup Group A.
Besiktas Fibabanka started the match quickly, taking an early lead of 7-0 with points from Allman, Sleva, and Kerem Konan, finishing the first 5 minutes with a 17-7 advantage.
Continuing to dominate in the first quarter, Besiktas finished the period with a significant 31-9 lead, thanks to the effective play of Sleva and Allman.
In the second period, Besiktas maintained their momentum, extending the lead to 27 points at 39-12 with an 8-3 run. Besiktas controlled both the inside and outside shooting, leading the first 5 minutes of the quarter 41-16.
Exhibiting a dominant performance both offensively and defensively, Besiktas went to halftime with a 61-28 lead.
The third quarter began with both teams trading points. Although the German team managed an 8-0 run to cut the score to 75-44, Besiktas quickly increased the lead to 39 points, finishing the quarter at 85-46.
Responding to Bretzel and Klepeisz’s scores with contributions from Morgan and Berk Ugurlu, Besiktas entered the final period with a 40-point lead at 89-49.
In the last quarter, Besiktas opted for a rotational game due to their comfortable lead. While not allowing the gap to close, the German team had a 9-0 run late in the game, making it 101-70.
With points from Sleva and Yıgıt Arslan in the final moments, Besiktas increased the lead again, finishing the game with a 33-point difference at 107-74.
