Cedi Osman and Omer Faruk Yurtseven’s Jersey Numbers Announced at Panathinaikos

The jersey numbers for our national stars Cedi Osman and Ömer Faruk Yurtseven, who will play under Ergin Ataman at Panathinaikos this season, have been announced.

Panathinaikos, who celebrated a EuroLeague championship last season with the coach of the Turkish National Basketball Team, Ergin Ataman, strengthened its roster by signing players like Lorenzo Brown, and Turkish national basketball players Cedi Osman and Ömer Faruk Yurtseven. The jersey numbers for the new transfers for the upcoming season have now been revealed.

Ömer Faruk Yurtseven will continue to wear the number 77 jersey, just as he did during his NBA career with the Miami Heat and Utah Jazz. Our representative also preferred this jersey number during his time with the national team. Meanwhile, Cedi Osman will wear the number 16 jersey at Panathinaikos, the same number he wore throughout his NBA career with the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs.

Lorenzo Brown will wear the number 2 jersey at Panathinaikos because the club retired its number 4 jersey in honor of legendary captain Francis Albertis.
