Galatasaray football director Cenk Ergün has officially resigned from his position at the club.

In a statement shared on his social media account, Ergün announced his decision, stating: “As I conveyed to our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Dursun Aydın Özbek in writing today, I have resigned from my professional position at the club. I am taking this decision to prevent the situation we are in from damaging my club and to avoid further discrediting my name.”

Ergün also mentioned that he will provide a more detailed explanation in the coming days.
