According to a statement from TED, the signing ceremony held at the TFF facilities was attended by TFF President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu and TED President Selçuk Pehlivanoğlu.
The project will be conducted by TED within the framework of social responsibility to support female referees in taking on more and higher-level international roles in the global football arena. The referees selected by the TFF will have the opportunity to improve their English skills through the training offered by TED.
In the statement, TFF President Ibrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu emphasized the importance of enhancing referees’ competencies to ensure a stronger representation of Turkish football on the international stage.
Hacıosmanoğlu said, “This project, which will improve our female referees’ English skills, will enable them to take on more effective roles internationally and contribute to representing our country in the best way possible.”
Selcuk Pehlivanoğlu, the President of TED, also noted that the organization takes pride in ensuring equal opportunities in education and contributing to the country with a sense of social responsibility.
Pehlivanoğlu stated, “Strengthening the English proficiency of our female referees is a valuable step toward advancing them in the global football community. This project will contribute to their stronger representation on the international platform.”
He added, “We express our gratitude to the association.”
